After successful editions in Barcelona and Bucharest the EuroCloud Forum 2017 unites Cloud Computing experts in Mechelen at its eighth summit. Brewery Of Ideas is invited to operate the first Belgian passage of Europe’s most primary Cloud event. Together we feature a unique double bill with the Belgian Cyber Security Convention.
The EuroCloud Forum connects the European Cloud industry to support businesses in the development of Cloud Computing. Research centers, stakeholders and government authorities will be present to discuss the fundamental game-changers in the digital society. Visitors are invited for a day of lectures, group discussions and workshops on the use of Cloud Computing.
Under the motto “Cloud, trust & industry” EuroCloud deals with subjects ranging from the latest cloud technology trends to the legal framework overseeing cloud services in Europe. Keynotes by renowned speakers such as Pearse O’Donohue (European Commission), EuroCloud president Tobias Höllwarth and one former British Intelligence specialist (who’s name remains unknown due to safety reasons) sharing his perspective on the evolution of cyber security. The afternoon sessions will put the spotlight on GDPR, in which experienced privacy lawyers answer the most important questions regarding the upcoming regulations.
The EuroCloud Forum 2017 takes place on October 25th at the Lamot Congress centre Mechelen and is held next to the Belgian Cyber Security Convention as a standalone conference. Both conferences are operated by Brewery Of Ideas.
EuroCloud is an independent non-profit organization and functions a neutral knowledge sharing network between European Cloud startups, research centers, customers and providers.
